For the uninitiated, a tweetup is a group of friends on Twitter (social network) that are planning to meet up. A request by a user to meet with friends via Twitter.(source)
This is a very special invitation to all those wonderful tweeters in and around Calicut city to come join us for a grand tweet up, which will be held on 26 May 2012, @ Dakshin-The Veg, Mavoor Road
We are also happy to announce that, as part of the tweetup, we also plan to distribute free food packets to the poor and hungry people in the city, thus doing our bit to help them.

Distribution of free food packets to the poor @ 12 Noon

We will be starting off with the free food packet distribution program at Mofussil Bus Stand, Calicut. Eveyone who wishes to join us for this noble cause is requested to be present there @ 12 noon. We will then head to @ Dakshin-The Veg, Mavoor Road, for a grand tweetup and lunch @ 2 PM.

First Calicut Tweetup Report

First Calicut Tweetup – #tweetupclt is over. It was held in Coffee Beanz, Red Cross Road.We had a total of 5 guys participating this time.
Attendees
As wifi was not available we were not able to have live tweeting for the event. Also from the turn out we understood its better to keep tweetups on Sundays. We will be planning the next event in a big scale making sure there is enough turnout.
